Proposals are some of my favorite shoots because of all the anticipation, collaboration with the client and problem solving that makes these type of photo shoots so exciting. Travis contacted me a couple of months ago about doing this proposal and I could tell he really wanted to make it special for Crystal so that it’s a surprise and romantic. Well, he nailed it! She was completely surprised and the lighting was perfect for the moment. I actually dressed up as a fisherman passing them up on the trail that lead to the hidden away chapel at Skybox Cabins in Glen Rose. He took her to the edge of the chapel and then I popped out the camera from the fishing backpack and then he asked the question. She was ecstatic with his surprise and was glowing with joy. He put the gigantic ring on the finger and we did a little photo shoot afterwards. Congrats to Travis and Crystal!!!!
Also, f you. haven’t visited or stayed in the Skybox Cabins in Glen Rose, TX, you are missing out for sure. They have a lot of different types of cabins to stay in, like the “Glamp” that is a sweet clear tent like room for two with an incredible view. Book a cabin!
