Gage and Rachel’s Lovely Surprise Proposal Shoot
Gage planned out this beautiful proposal with amazing ballon arches, detail candles floating in the pool, and the most important part, family and friends hiding in the house the excited anticipation. Gage’s family contacted me about a month in advance and I was excited to be a part of this wonderful moment. They mentioned that it would be in the backyard a smaller setup, but when I arrived and saw the decorations, it honestly looked absolutely amazing and I was impressed with the whole decor. The family and friends were giggling and happy with excitement about what was about to go down, as they were visiting and snacking in the house. Whenever it was time to arrive, I hid (in plain sight lol) as Gage opened the back gate to the song of “Golden Hour” and Rachel’s jaw dropped. She gasped and put her hands to her mouth out of surprise. There were tears and smiles for hours afterwards from both. She followed him to the pool deck, he got down on a knee and she said “Yes”. We quickly did several poses before it got too hot and so that there was enough time for her to get surprised again and everyone was hiding inside the house. Gage and Rachel were greeted by everyone with hugs and laughs. It was seriously such a fun photoshoot to be a part of, and this is why I love what I do.
