Venturing to downtown Dallas, TX for these engagement photos was such a fun time with this shoot. I’ve had the honor of knowing Vijay for 18 years and I still can’t believe time has gone by so fast, and that he asked me to be his wedding photographer. We meet over dinner right before the pandemic, and after everything shut down, we all waited for another time. Then the message I’ve been hoping for finally came in, and the wedding WAS ON!!! So, we went downtown Dallas and took some fun engagement shoots in modern attire and their beautiful traditional Indian attire at Turtle Creek and Arlington Hall. Somehow the weather for a July evening really wasn’t that bad, which was a huge blessing. They were even able to get their tandem bike out to make a few rounds to show how freaking awesome they were riding this thing. The lighting was beautiful and set the mood for some fantastic,romantic shots before the sun went down and they were able to put on the hotter Indian clothing on.
This photo shoot was such a wonderful time of not just getting some great shots, but also hanging out with some wonderful people that I will keep in touch with for the rest of my life.
