This wedding that was on private property in the beautiful state of Oklahoma and it was an absolute dream to photograph. We had free rein to roam around acres and acres of lush grassy plains and shaded trees. If you were to pick a spot to photograph a wedding couple at on a breezy, summer day, any photographer would say this spot. This was my first wedding in Oklahoma, and I hope it isn’t my last. Just driving through the back roads was a joy alone, but coupled with a great couple and a beautiful wedding venue on private property made for a really wonderful day. The bride and here friends were laughing the entire time while getting ready and it was a great beginning of the event. Adam probably one of the most chill grooms I’ve worked with in years. He was talking and hanging out with his family and when it was time, got ready in about 5 minutes and totally pulled off the shorts and jacket. We drove to the grassy, shaded are by a huge tree in the farm truck (I rode in the back). The first look was intimate and stunning. All you need for first look photos is a beautiful scenery and a happy couple. We all jumped back in the truck and I took the detail shots and photos of family and friends arriving for the celebration.
Adam got setup and everyone was in awe when Jackie walked down that Oklahoma aisle. The officiant talked about how they both were in love and had known them for awhile. Ceremony was done and the party began, and lasted until the light was gone. It was a really special day, and I was so honored to be there and photograph the moments. Thank you Adam and Jackie for letting me photograph your wedding. Hope y’all the best and have a wonderful new adventure.
